Section 1

What Auto Restock Scheduler Does

Set inventory changes to happen automatically — on the day and time you choose, repeating as often as you need

📅

Scheduled Updates

Run inventory changes daily, weekly, or monthly — or as a one-time event at a future date and time.

📦

Set or Adjust Stock

Set quantities to an exact number, or adjust up/down by a delta — per product and per location.

🔄

More Than Inventory

Activate or deactivate products, and turn "continue selling when out of stock" on or off — on a schedule.

📊

Full Audit Trail

Every run is logged with status, duration, and the exact change made to each product.

💡 All changes are written straight to your Shopify inventory through the official Admin API — no spreadsheets, no manual edits.

📋

Schedule Table

Title, location, next run with its repeat pattern, the action badge, status, and last-updated date. Click a title to open it.

Create New Schedule

The primary button (top-right) starts a fresh schedule. Disabled with an upgrade prompt if you've hit your active-schedule limit.

🎯

Onboarding Card

First-time guidance that walks you through creating your first schedule and adding products. Dismisses automatically once done.

Status at a Glance

ACTIVE schedules run on time; INACTIVE ones are paused and never execute until reactivated.

📁

Pagination

Schedules are listed 10 per page so large catalogs stay easy to browse.

Section 3

Creating a Schedule

Step 1 — name it, choose a location, and pick your products

Create new schedule — Choose product & location
Choose product & location
Shown for inventory rules only — hidden for status & selling-policy actions.
12 products selected
Selected 12 of 1,000 product variants allowed by your current plan.
💡 Product listing opens Shopify's native product picker. Select whole products or individual variants — each variant counts toward your plan's product limit.

Per-Product Settings

Each selected product gets its own quantity and a live preview of the change

Selected products
📦
Trail Runner Tee Medium / Blue
SKU: TR-TEE-M-BL  ·  Available: 42
Will set quantity to: 100 units
View inventory Remove
💡 The helper text previews the result: "Will set quantity to: 100 units" for the Set rule, or "After adjustment: 150 units" for the Adjust rule. Available stock is color-coded (green > 10, amber < 10, red = 0).
For the Set rule with quantity 0, a "Stop selling when out of stock" checkbox appears so you can close the variant when it hits zero.
Section 3 (continued)

Step 2 — Scheduling

Choose when it runs and how often it repeats

Scheduling

ACTIVE
Timezone: America/Denver (auto-detected from your browser)
💡 Pick "Don't repeat" for a one-time event. Otherwise set Every N + Day/Week/Month. Available periods depend on your plan (Free is weekly & monthly only).
Section 4

Restock Rules & Actions

The Restock rule dropdown groups six actions into three categories

📐

Set quantity to X

Sets inventory to an exact number at the chosen location. Per-product quantities. Can repeat

➖➕

Adjust quantity by X

Adds or subtracts a delta from current stock (use negatives to reduce). Per-product values. Can repeat

Activate products

Changes product status from Draft to Active. No location or quantity needed. One-time

📄

Deactivate products

Sets products to Draft (hides them from the storefront). One-time

🔓

Turn ON "Continue selling"

Allows the variant to keep selling when out of stock (oversell). One-time

🔒

Turn OFF "Continue selling"

Stops the variant selling once it hits zero. One-time

Section 4 (continued)

How Rules Behave

💡 Use Set for "always top up to this level" and Adjust for "add this many each cycle." Combine a Deactivate one-time schedule with a future Activate to plan product launches.

Are you sure to run this schedule right now?
Your inventory will be updated in Shopify, it can't be undone.
A manual Run Now applies the change to live Shopify inventory exactly like a scheduled run — and is logged in Run History the same way.
